Vocalize 2011 Contest

Instructions:

-Write an original poem

-Record the video & upload it onto the Vocalize 2011 Facebook page (you need to "like" it first)

-In the description of your video, include your full name, corps, division, age, and the title of your poem

-File must be unedited. You will not be judged on visual or video quality but the audio must be clear

-The author of the poem doesn't have to perform it. You can find an actor to do it for you

-There are no limits on the number of actors performing the poem in the video, but the author is responsible for the submission

-The video must be under 3 minutes and 30 seconds

-Each writer is permitted a maximum of 5 submissions on facebook.com/vocalize2011

-Submissions must be made by November 11, 2011

There are 2 categories:

-Age 18 and under as of January 1, 2012

-age 19 and over as of January 1, 2012

Winners in each category will receive $250, $150, or $100 and will have their poem made into a typography video online. Judging will be based on Literary content (60%) and performance (40%) and poems do not have to rhyme.
