i don`t get this... Materialism of the gaps? Is that some sort of fucked up way of refering to methodological naturalism in the perjorative? Isent it slightly backward to be refering to naturalistic thinking while stairing into a camera born of naturalistic forces that operates through naturalistic forces and then uploading the content to a internet that operates purely through naturalistic means?

If we have a natural science based explaination for something then it is natural. If we do not have an explaination for something then it is unknown. Renaming that unknown supernatural does not change the fact that we do not know about it. If we discover something about that thind and it becomes known and natural. Thus supernatural is by definition non-existant.

Having an imagination is different than believing in the supernatural. Scientists are able to think outside of the box because they have an imagination, not because they adhere to the supernatural without any human discourse.

Even if the correlation between praying and regrowing limbs was only 95% and not 100%, I'd still take that seriously. Then again p=0.95 is pretty much the definition of "evidence".
