The first time that the Cannon Ball Run has taken place in Ireland. It was in aid of Barretstown (a centre for seriously ill children), which was founded by Hollywood actor Paul Newman in 1994 after the success of his Hole In The Wall Camps in the USA. Barretstown has grown from serving 124 children in a marquee in 1994 to over 12,000 children and their families from 23 European countries. The site has grown to offer a first-class facility for seriously ill children with an excellent medical centre and a unique therapeutic programme backed by the medical community.
Second stop was in Kinsale, Co. Cork. Apparently, over 40 million euros worth of supercars took part in the rally. All the major marques were there: Porsche, Ferarri, Aston Martin, Lamborghini, Lotus, BMW, Jaguar, Mercedes, Maserati, etc.

Great Video but absolutely no need for music. The best part of these cars is very often the sound they make.
