  • hey,

das deutsch ist richtig gut :)

  • Yo guys, not bad... Im German and we work on the book as well.. its hard enough if u german as motherlanguage.. dont wanna imagine if you do it as a foreigner... WELL DONE GUYS!!! :)

  • Poor American students. I can relate to the pain of having to discussing this incredibly boring book in class. My teacher told us that boringness is a stylistic device (!) in Effi Briest back then when we watched the Fassbinder movie (which is even more boring than the book).

But to watch Effi Briest with this hilarious American accent makes the story really entertaining.

  • Effi Briest ist ein Meisterwerk deutscher Literatur, schön, dass ihr es interpretiert, aber wer es als schlecht bezeichnet, weiß nicht was wunderbar ist !

  • @KendrixTermina I liked your excellent interpretation of Annie (i.e., her costume), but you kind of got her sentece wrong... "Aber wenn ich darf" doesn't make much sense (It's suposed to mean "but only if I'm alowed to", but that wold be "aber NUR wenn ich darf" or simply "wenn ich darf" Still, you obviously put a lot of work into this...

  • They read that book outside of Germany, too? It's nice to see that I'm no the only one who likes it. Great work with the Introduction. Your German is barely understandable, tough.... Still, them ppl are more in-Character than in the most recent movie version which really raped the story and it's meaning and reduced all the characters to boring flat stereotypes (expecially Innstetten who was my favourite character in the book-version)

  • As an Englishman you would laugh about germans like me trying to speak good English. But I think, your movie was good, especially for school students ;), me as a german am reading the book in German, but I don't find it too bad, although I must say, that there are many better books.

    Congratulations...

  • nice german :D

    nice video!
