300 Ancient Hoplitikon of Melbourne prepare for war 2006

In 2006, The Ancient Hoplitikon of Melbourne prepared a video in honour of the Spartan and Thespian hoplites who fought to the death on Kolonos hill, at the Battle of Thermopylae 480 B.C. A sacrifice for freedom and independence over the Persian yoke of slavery, we take great pride in doing this video, the virtues of such self sacrifice for ones nation has been remembered and recorded for future generations, that duty is more important than life!
