@BinkieMcFartnuggets Actually, it's 90 babies within two years. 11,000 injuries as well. The CPSC did a two-year studty. Of course these numbers do not reflect the recent deaths or the death of my son, Tyler. Tyler died in 1997 in a wood drop-side crib with steel hardware. His crib was never recalled.
I have a Stork Craft Crib and it is so scary to hear about the recall, I am sorry to hear about those innocent young children that had to die in order for them to recall the cribs. It is so sad how someone can blame a child or a parent about this. They are not to blame when WE thought that our child's crib was a safe place for them to be. I could not imagine to be one of those parents. They will never get there child back after all of this, God Bless those who have to suffer.
Considering that you are just an 18 yr old kid I don't expect you to have an intelligent opinion. Safety defects in products should always be fixed or recalled which is exactly what they are doing. It doesnt mean there are 2.1 million babies without cribs, it means there are taking care of the problem and families are able to find something safer. I suppose you would say that phthalates in baby bottles were only used by dumb babies as well and that the genetic damage it caused was their fault!?!
Are you a fucking idiot!?!? Tell that to the mothers and fathers of the dead children!! Some things are not foreseeable until its too late but when someone is put in harms ways because of a product it should be removed or fixed... simple as that. Recalling defective or hazardous products by gov't regulation is a good thing you moron! Industry cannot be trusted to regulate itself!

@bammagamma Thank you. Tyler's mommy (Tyler Jonathan became an angel on 12/12/97 after he was strangled by his drop-side deathtrap)

Four deaths since 1993... No one wants to blame the parents, but those numbers aren't exactly staggering.
