Thunderbird House Jam and Dog Wag for my harp pal Johnny D, outta Sacto. Check out my dog Joe River and his musical tail as we close the selection out. I am playing Hohner's new Thunderbird, a low C. Along the ways there' a little 16 Tons and a little Rockin' Robin.

  • It reminds me of a dream I had a few times where life moves all around me yet I'm standing still , thick in memory of the way I used to move my heart pounds and I'm smiling big! You take us there Jon, the place where real sound is!

  • @hearitplayitsingit you give the best reviews. It means a lot to hear it expressed so viscerally and poetically. You touch my heart. Thank you.

  • A new model, but I have owned this one for a few months.

  • really nice things going on there jon, love the octave changes you slipped in. thanks

  • Really makes you want to move!! Thanks again for showing us what harp playing is all about....and the "dog wag'' ...well ....I laughed like hell...a great lift to the spirit on this rainy BC day!!

  • Good chuggin. The dog wag is a nice touch. Mine likes to sing when I play. I honestly thinks he knows what he's doing. He hits his mark perfectly all the time. Thanks for posting as you have. Your lessons have been a HUGE shot in the arm(lips?) for me. Especially the basics. I keep going back to them and pick up something new each time.
