A collaboration between Bungie Studios, director Neill Blomkamp, WETA Workshop and Origami Digital LLC, brings the first digital short depicting humanity's struggle to save Earth. They say this is to advertise Halo 3. We know otherwise.... Lets hope this is a good sign for the movie

but Bungie's budget couldn't cut it,

so it turned out to be District 9,

which Bungie admitted at their PAX Conference for Halo 3: ODST.
