I remember hearing Brandt on the WRCV version of the Peacock, back when WRCV was NBC's Philly affiliate. In either 1964 or 1965, KYW became Philly's NBC affiliate.

I remember WRCV when they were in Philly, they had a local Peacock. I don't think KYW had one when they came to Philly.

Interesting that Mel Brandt did the custom WKYC intro on that Peacock animation. I presume he did this for the other NBC O&O's of the time?
