@TheMaestroBrad Maestro.......You are almost correct. My teacher,Boris Schwarz, used to call his instrument a "fiddle from time to time, too, but there IS a difference in the way a violin and "fiddle" are set up by the luthier. With a "fiddle" the bridge does not have the typical curve of the classical violin......Makes it easier on those trained on fiddle to make dbl/trpl stops,etc.....

Actually, a violin and a fiddle are the exact same thing. "Fiddle" is a style of playing, not a separate instrument. Us classical musicians just like to use the slang term "fiddle" for fun; Don't be so literal. Cheers!

@TheMaestroBrad i agree with Outrun citizen. bro a violin is a violin, and a fiddle is a fiddle. you know what the difference is right!?!?!?!? you wear boots when you play the fiddle. :P and i, sir do not believe someone would ever wear that outfit with boots. so it is indeed not a fiddle. admit it my logic is impeccable.

i love this movement, and this is so spectacular! your rhythmic interpretation is a little different, but your intonation and expression is just wonderful. your violin sounds so full, and your fast passages are so clean. listened to this way too many times!
