What it is really is plants and trees 'breathe' in carbon dioxide, and we expell it, so we help eachother.

True, but it all depends on studio hire etc. They hire studios to a certain time and if they run over, it costs a fortune.

It also depends on the scheduling too - with a lot of sitcoms being filmed during the mid to late 1970s and with fewer studios to use etc. they couldn't afford to miss filming sessions.
