I remember 92.1 KKIS-FM became KSJO in the mid 1990's before becoming KUIC owned KKDV 92.1 in 2004. But the format of KKDV is a lot like the old KKIS.

Actually, they sold it to people who owned Spanish "Z" stations and lied in saying that they wouldn't change the format. They also sold-off one of the best call signs in radio and went Spanish anyway. After that, it was sold to someone else who simulcasted it with KSJO. Coast Broadcasting then bought it, along with that vacaville station and KKIQ in Livermore. If the owners in 1990 didn't have so many financial problems, I'd still be there.
