@Live4Future Active substance? the micelles are formed above a certain concentration, called critical micelle concentration. (there has to be enough of them around for them to be able to form a sphere) SDS for example forms micelle in water with CMC of 0.008 mol/dm3. Soap does the same thing! they suround hydrophobic substances.
