This information is only the tip of the iceberg regarding how the police and judges have been on a massive POWER TRIP for the past ten years which has caused massive damage to the U.K economy.The chief culprits have taken RETIREMENT on VERY HIGH PENSIONS and no longer feature at the front of the scam.Retired Chief Constable Sir Paul Scott-Lee left with a KNIGHTHOOD as well as a PENSION of about £77,000 per year, whilst Sir Hugh Orde, as working president of ACPO, is on over £150,000 p.a.

The LEGAL SYSTEM has no interest in POOR criminals because they have no money, but the solicitors thrive on criminalising ordinary people who have modest income and don`t know how the `system`works.Who really are the crooks?They don`t care if you have to take time off work to defend yourself, they mess you around by postponing hearings, they confuse you with stupid legal arguments and fake experts, they don`t care if you were doing no harm.ONLY QUESTIONS.How much do you earn, how will you pay?

I believe that Gatsos have caused major damage to the U.K economy, with only a select few making a lot of money from the corrupt system.Ordinary motorists have been WORN DOWN into an obsessive state of looking at their speedometers instead of at the road ahead, and punished as criminals when driving sensibly for the conditions.The SMALL percentage of dangerous speeding drivers really do kill or maim people but they LAUGH at the law (haha) because they receive little punishment even if caught.

Gatsos NEVER achieved independent U.K Type Approval.They provided their own Type Approval authorised by their friends in the Dutch agency NMi (Netherlands Measuring institute), which was never questioned, and the Department for Transport were never involved in any testing for accuracy or safety.The DfT were given the responsibility of distributing the revenue raised from fines between the partnerships, who kept 80%, and the Treasury. Gatso Type Approval was NEVER signed off by any minister.

Gatso themselves know their cameras are UNRELIABLE and they had to find a way of avoiding detection.They negotiated with Home Office contacts(NOT the minister) to allow deployment WITHOUT obtaining independent U.K Type Approval and with permission to use a bright UNFILTERED flash on public roads( without determination of safety consequences), and with a deal that no one else could check their cameras for annual calibration or reliability. It was a very suspicious `arrangement`.

ACPO know all about the false activations and unreliable evidence, but they make a LOT of money as most people cannot afford a good lawyer.They quietly drop cases when it suits them, and their `road safety` (haha), RSS, employs a barrister to argue high profile cases and drag in dodgy `experts`(haha).It`s a massive confidence destroying scam that relies on the fact that most people cannot afford to fight organised corruption, especially when magistrates are in PARTNERSHIP with the police.

Thanks for this & other clips. Over-reliance on tech will grind justice into the ground. Not just regarding speed detection, but in all sorts of other law enforcement situations. The world needs people like you to stand on a soapbox and bang on until someone listens.

It's not just The UK but much of Northern Europe is suffering the money leaching cancer that are traffic cameras. I have no doubt they are used for monetary gains for high end government officials & other "people "in the background. Where I live they don't even put them in places where they can increase safety just in places they can screw you for the most cash.

Luckily in when I'm The UK I have a foreign plated car so exempt by default, for now. Must have the most photographed butt there :P

I went back home to England a while ago. I had never experienced the hell of speed camera roads before. I was a nervous wreck driving there. I hardly looked at what was in front of me I was so paranoid of those damm cameras all I saw was the speedometer. North American roads never looked so sweet as when I got back. I drove down a empty road with no f--- cameras and where you can drink your coffee and drive perfectly legally. Rock on Canada and USA and God Bless England too but not cameras.

The police know about false activations because they have to discard hundreds of photos produced with NO vehicles showing in the target zone.It`s a DELIBERATE coverup.If a vehicle does show in the pictures they are supposed to check the calibrations passed but they OFTEN don`t bother as they are too busy, and they know they can FOOL the judges and magistrates.They only get caught out in extreme cases, such as fining parked cars, and most people know they cannot beat the setup and plead guilty.
