Smallville: Clark & Oliver - The Golden Boys

Alright, I think it's safe to say I've been watching too much Golden Girls, lol. I can't help it if it's on every night before I go to bed and still on when I wake up...I suppose I could change the channel but where's the fun in that? Golden Girls is awesome!

Anyway, I was driving to work yesterday and on the oldies station I listen to this song came on. Now I didn't know that it was an actual song so for kicks I bought it. And then a random fun idea occurred to me. I could vid it! My original plan was to make it an Oliark/Clex video with Oliark in the first verse and chorus and Clex in the second (yes it is a full song, lol) but I got lazy and cut the song real short (even cut out part of the first verse *gasp*). This way it's a replica of the Golden Girls theme song, lol. I adore Clark and Oliver's friendship/bromance to no end and this song fits rather well. I wanted to show their happier moments but some of the drama is included in there as well...Hope you all like it. It's my second time vidding these two...it's just a random fun little video :)

For those of you wondering, I haven't forgotten about this fandom..I've been trying to branch out lately but I promise there are more Smallville videos coming from me...full length ones, lol. I'm pretty sure my next upload will be a full length Smallville video so there's something for my followers to look forward to..that is if you're still following me, lol...I know it's been a while but thank you all for staying with me! I really appreciate it XD

I do have to dedicate this to Alma (AJmnz89). She LOVES Golden Girls and has a soft spot for Oliark. Alma, you can consider this a very belated birthday present if you want, I had you in mind when I came up with the idea to make this :)

Ha Ha.. I loved this. The song choice cracked me up. Especially since I remember having to watch Golden Girls and Empty Nest every time I was at my grandma's house and they were on. The Clark/Oliver friendship was an underrated part of Smallville, and it was cool to see a tribute for them. I also think that enough people don't remember or focus on Clark and Pete either. That would be awesome if you did a Clark/Pete video.

@rdeffleymoviesnew aw, thank you!! i haven't seen Empty Nest in a LONG time..I really enjoyed editing Clark/Oliver without any hints of slash..I ADORE their friendship...I like Clark and Pete's friendship but I have my issues with Pete so idk if I'll ever vid their friendship but if the right song comes along I'd love to give it a try. i'm SO happy you loved this video! thanks for watching and commenting =D
