  • Recent updates reveal that BlizzCon 2011 is actually being cancelled due the risk of an attack of insane and hateful pandas that threat to destroy and manipulate world of warcraft.

Blizzard has chosen to work on a better and more balanced MMO with less bullshit as an attempt to satisfy these angry pandas.

  • @Mastermoviez :D i should of seen through their coverup excuses!!

  • Did you hear it from Lumin or Crota? =p

Anyway I used to admire Blizzard's "it's done when it's done attitude" It felt like there was literally something magical on the horizon. But now I guess that era's over.

  • @thetubeaccount no i heard it from my friend, who is crota and lumin? ^_^

  • @thetubeaccount excuse me, i mean who are* not who is O_O

  • It makes me sad its cancelled I wanted to go :(

  • @Meleeboy3 lol me too :[

  • Blizzard logic:

    1995 - 2011 = The next game is done when it's done...just a couple more years...chill...

2012 = SHUT. DOWN. EVERYTHING. We have a schedule people!!!

  • More like they are embarrassed to show up in public after anouncing the drunken kung-fu panda expansion.

  • I hope this gurts greedy, corporate, low quality Blizzard very much.

  • Those aren't the reasons they cancelled it. The real reason is that the world will end this year and Diablo III will still not be released, so what's the point?

  • i need your character name in diablo 3? i kno you will think of somethin amazin. add me on friends!

  • @banido LMFAO!

  • It's pretty obvious that BlizzCon wasn't cancelled because of all the work Blizzard has to do, but simply because they have nothing epic to reveal to the community. They simply want the community to keep thinking that BlizzCon is this exeptional event where exceptional things are happening and revealed.

When Blizz knows that BlizzCon couldn't possibly be as good as it's expected, it's better to not do it at all and keep the community's expectations at a maximum for the next time.

  • In all fairness, they didn't technically "cancel" BlizzCon. There was never a rule that said Blizzard has to host BlizzCon annually. Also, what kind of content would they fill the convention with? Nothing they wish to announce. We have already been thoroughly educated on MoP, HotS, and D3. All that is left is to finish and release these games. It is probably better they use the time to finish those games rather than hyping them up, the hype is optimal.

  • Blizzard is scared. They have massive competition in 2012 coming up. Plenty of potential WoW killers. They need to focus so they don't get de-throned. Personally I would laugh at Blizzard if they do. lol

  • She is so cute!!!!

  • You'd think Blizz would have a separate PR department that focuses just on advertisement and conventions. They're a multi-million dollar corporation. Or maybe it's because the world's ending in 2012 and they don't want to waste the extra money.
