Christmas is as christian as it is political correct. It´seuropean, it´s pagan (sol invictus). it´s commerce and it´s fun. We invented it. Its ours, and all these mirthles bomb-belt wearing goat-molesters and their sour-faced goody two-shoes friends can go to sanduneland and die on liver cancer ..or something else pleasant.

Christmas is now a festival to the God of retail (and possibly of over indulging), and no longer anything to do with Christianity, Winter solstices, or pagan festivals, Bobby.

Hanukkah is a bit before Xmas, my Orthodox family have their Xmas on Jan 7, and us godless Commie freaks, we just greet the New Year. Ironically, my Muslim Egyptian friends wish "Merry Christmas" to others. I think saying "happy holidays" is just a lazy way of wishing everyone good hunting for the shopping season without getting into the fascinating but time consuming theological debates. I like theological debates but "happy holidays" works well for people I don't care about or in mixed crowds.
