Sounds awful. Too harmonic and high-pitched. You need some mufflers and a crossover pipe to quite it down and make it sound mellow and deep. That's so loud, it is irritating and will piss people off when you go by them. (like me.) I'm sure it's illegal too and will get noticed my a cop who might issue a ticket. No thanks.

@magnum172 thats a good question.Because impalas were conceived and designed by white men for white buyers.They were not intended for beaners and spooks who dont have the taste and good sense to keep them original.

@IwontConform oh i wonder how you feel about hotrodders they are worst then the lowriders guys. i use many cars from hotrodders as parts cars at my shop you cant undo there mods, lowriders can be fix easy.

I work for a custom car shop in Texas and one of my customers saw this link and wanted me to find out what exhaust system you had on this impala. He has a caprice lowrider on hydros and wants the authentic lowrider sound. What engine is in this impala? I see you said it is just straight exhaust.
