CROWN OF GLORY
When I doubt people, I feel pain.
When I judge people, it is unbearable.
When I hate people, there is no value to my existence.
Yet if I believe, I am deceived.
If I love, I am betrayed.
Suffering and grieving tonight, my head in my hands
Am I wrong?

Yes, I am wrong.
Even though we are deceived, still believe.
Though we are betrayed, still forgive.
Love completely even those who hate you.

Wipe your tears away and welcome with a smile
Those who know nothing but deceit
And those who betray without regret.

Oh Master! The pain of loving!
Look at my hands.
Place your hand on my chest.
My heart is bursting, such agony!

But when I loved those who acted against me
I brought victory.
If you have done the same thing,
I will give you the crown of glory.

If Jesus came to die on the cross, why did he wait to reach the age of 33 to just to die? And why did he cry to God to let the cup pass through him? Did he not know that it is his ultimate purpose? Or theres something else? The bible has only records of few years of Jesus life on earth. We dont know what happened to him in his unrecorded life experiences. Besides he is the most important man on the bible, right? Be open minded

As Ive said, the bible did not show most of Jesus life on earth. However, by reading it and comparing with Rev. Moons Divine Principle, Ive come to see the real mission of a messiah, and the true way to salvation. It is not just by reading the bible from cover to cover, but by living a life for the sake of others and a life of true love is an absolute prerequisite in entering the Kingdome of heaven. It is not by the number of copies of the good book u poses, but how you live by it. PEACE ;)

for me its a question of whether the benefits of remaining in the UC outweigh to benefits of leaving it. After 40 years of membership, I still find the teaching valuable, although I no longer hold to it unquestioningly as I once did. FYI I have indeed read the Bible cover to care, carefully, several times. I don't base my faith on the Bible or even on Rev Moon's teachings anymore. I follow my own conscience in relation to God as I see him/her.

Secular Taoism sound interesting to me.
