"tl;dr" is a multi-faceted gem of internet memetic culture that expresses modest jesting disapproval to an unintentionally didactic or verbose text, often with a subtext of sarcasm that serves to mock the unlikelihood of said text (usually of a serious nature) being taken to any length of seriousness by other readers who would not normally invest the time, effort nor attention to read said post.
