For everyone considering this surgery, let me say, depending on the type of flat feet you have, this procedure is great, and after 14 long years of pain, this surgery made my feet brand new. I have no pain at all. I had a different surgery that was very extensive and huge, and it did jack shit. When I got this one, it worked so well and it is cheaper than the first one would have been if I had had to pay for it. But we had tricare primary which covered the first one. I highly recommend this.

@maakkupaax Yes. I might have a different case of flat foot from you, but this surgery worked exceedingly. It is a little sore because I just got it. I highly suggest it.

@christiansizer wow, I said that 3 years ago. And no, I hate to have flat feet. Can you share your experience with the implant?, I believe this is great.

I've used custom orthotics several times, and while they help with my knee aches and back aches, they usually make the soles of my feet hurt! So I can give up one type of pain for another. I hope this surgery pans out as I am seriously considering it. I'd like to hear from some folks that had this done several years ago, and what their current status is. Flat Feet Suck!

I have SEVERE flat feet and i HATE it. i stand on my feet 10 hours a day 4x a week cause of my job and i cannot take the pain. i have orthotics, special shoes and an ankle brace that i wear. NOTHING helps, i am still in constant pain =[
