I saw this film several hrs after eating my first brownie, which I must say was super potent. It was the funniest film I had ever seen. The character, Bobby, was hysterical, especially during the murder scene. Every awkward bullying moment Bobby created also had me aching in pain with laughter. After seeing this movie, I wanted to try LSD because Bobby's character was so entertaining. This is, of course, quite a few yrs ago.

I saw this movie as a young kid. I was about 11 or 12.. But I remember being very disturbed about it for at least a few weeks... This just shows how "brutal" teens can be these days... Not to mention the fact that most of these kids had to be "anxious". I mean if Bobby Kent was really that bad, why not just report him to the police? Killing him solved nothing. All it did was cause a lot of stress and grief for a large group of parents.

@heliojanusz if you read the book bro bobby kent was a muclar toned guy and marty was lanky as hell and tall and bobby was tall and muscalr and beat marty on regular bases and only cause bobby couldnt defend himself.... and charter in this movie didnt look like the actual people...... horrible choice there. But great acting overall deffanitly.... and in the book marty was a scumbag to so bobby and marty were both scumbag to the max and have skanky gf and they were hoes just read the story.

The confusion and unease, in my opinion, accurately gives a sense of how loosely grounded these kids are. They are basically social drifters. I really did not emphasize at all with the kids or "cheer" for them, and it is a wonderful representation of group/teenage mentality and how these murders actually happen. Their approach is illogical and Clarke really captured that.
