  • put water in the cd drive and power ports

  • YEAH MAN. TOTALLY!. RIGHT AFTER YOU BUY ME A SIXPACK

nah my toughbook is now no longer in use, just cbf carrying the heavy thing around. cf-18 is way better

  • i think the best test would be to have it on and put it in the bath ?? would that work ?

  • although these laptops can take alot of splashes, they are not waterproof, and water will get in and do damage if it is submerged.

the main areas that are not completely sealed are the base, where the battery and hard drive go, and the hinges on the screen though these holes are mainly to let water out

that being said, i swam in the pool with this laptop when i was drunk, and it worked fine after it dried out for a couple days in the sun, though it temporarily didnt work when it was soaked
