So a copy is theft? Ok so what is being taken from the "creator"/copyright holder if someone copies and mp3 that they bought? Again, failed logic if fail. Please push your RIAA/MPAA talking points elsewhere. The Supreme Court has even ruled against your claims, Copyright Infringement cannot be seen as theft because it isn't (see Dowling v. United States, 473 U.S. 207).

Data theft is stealing even if you just make a copy of the data. Service theft is stealing even though nothing physical is actually taken. Look them up.

I wouldn't steal from Microsoft though, Bill Gates is giving away the vast, vast majority of his fortune to charity when he dies, so stealing from him is kinda like stealing from charity in the future.
