Grizzly Bear fan and animator Gabe Askew created an enchanting video for the band's track "Two Weeks".
Said Askew to Vray: "I chose the song 'Two Weeks' by my favorite band Grizzly Bear because it inspired me. Even though the video is about two men, I connected the lyrics to my own relationship with my wife. It took about four months of after-work time and weekends. I would estimate it to be about four work weeks. The lyrics, to me, told the story of a relationship where one person is uncertain of the others loyalty. You get sucked up into the daily grind and forget to tell the one you love how you feel. They get insecure and worry that you aren't committed. And the line 'I told you I would stay' is like a battle cry for fighting to keep your relationship together when it seems to be on the brink."

One more thing. Homo or hetero, love is always the same. Like heterosexual women, coming from a latinamerican country (Mexico), I was not offended or disappointed by the images. I feel enchanted by the video, is simply perfect. I put it on my fb wall, and I'm sure that my friends will also like it. Brillante!

The farmer makes things grow and the knight with his sword cuts them down. Also, farming is organic juxtaposed with the synthetic cold steel of a knights armor

I am astonished. It's like you know the meaning and themes behind the song just as well as the band members themselves. Your constant use of the symbol of two things existing together brought such strength and power to your video too. The two rabbits, the two frogs, the two kites, the two lovers, the two adventurers (the farmer and the knight), the constant image of two hearts, and I'm sure I'm missing something. A masterpiece.
P.S. This is coming from a heterosexual male. Conservatives, u mad?
