The Hanukkah Kids.

I had the privilege of speaking with the gentleman about 10 years or so ago who produced this song. He gathered up the all the kids he needed and in a makeshift studio cut the song in just a few takes he said.
I had explained how popular the song grew over the years and how difficult it was to find it in any music store.
The song had become one of the most requested holiday songs to be played on the radio every year. He had told me at that time he was thinking about putting it on CD but I don't believe it ever happened.
He came across as a very busy individual and probably little hope of ever seeing the song in CD form.
He was happy to send me the song in cassette form which I have buried around the house somewhere with other songs as well on it.

You could run a line from the output of a cassette player or receiver into the sound card on your computer and record it with some simple software. I use sound forge. However, there is some free software online for just this purpose.

I have the cassette with this on it and my other favorite- Judah Maccabee. But how do I convert it to a CD or mp3??? I love this and so do my kids.
