I cannot find who wrote the original? Which is going to prove very tough to get approval to keep this here.
I can find it was first recorded in 1979 and those who recorded it are : Tom Jones, Barbra Mandrell, Joe Dassin, Frankie Miller and Johnny Reid. If anyone can help me, pls do. I do have emails into offices regarding permission for this song.
