The Crossroads is a level for World 1 of Mushroom Kingdom Fusion. It was made by Lars Luron, and is planned as a secret level in the No Man's Land section of World 1: The Mushroom Kingdom.

The Crossroads is designed to be an intersection between dimensions of sorts; the central point in the Mushroom Kingdom where the fusion of worlds is at it's strongest. Multiple other worlds are bleeding through into the Mushroom Kingdom here, letting in all manner of different enemies and terrain.
There is at least one Fusion section to represent every other world in MKF (except for World 5 and 0) to give the player a bit of a "heads up" as to what they can expect in the later worlds.

Due to technical difficulties, the background needed to be made stationary. It will hopefully be fixed in the future.
Also, the music for the first and third rooms of the level is only temporary, and may be subject to change later on.

    It's not a hack.

  • Legend of mana

    Waa--waaah

  • @frostare I didn't even recognize the TMNT when I played through it. I thought the little bees looked familiar.

  • This is by far, my favorite level in MKF, I'm amazed the staff included some levels like the TMNT one, and some I don't even know of...

Though the next to final levels should be "Decaying worlds"

  • @Petfal Agreed.

  • @aprettycoolguyful

It would be coool if a/this part of No Man's Land went right through Nintendo ubspace, somehow.

  • This should be the final level in Nintendo Subspace.

  • This level is the bomb! It's incredible how ya mixed all that stuff from other games - Metroid, Zelda, Castlevania, Kid Icarus, Sonic, Mega Man - pretty much everything I played when I was a little boy.

  • @LarsLuron Lol Best Level in MKF

  • Oh man. Talk about 2D goodness! I think if I had this game as a kid I would probably never leave my TV. Excellent job!
