Davey is such a great lyricist. Everything he writes is catchy as hell, yet still makes perfect sense.

You're ignorant if you think the record labels are what makes AFI sound like what they do today. Davey's voice has changed and so has all of their musical tastes. Dave has even said that Crash Love is the album he's proudest of.
If you can't appreciate change then why listen to any modern music? Answer that and stay fashionable.

@AssassinJ2 Does that mean that AFI were just posers? If that's what your implying, then i wholeheartedly disagree. AFI were/are the best band ever. Their sing the sorrow was the creation of the record label. Same with decemberunderground and CL.
Do you anything about the music industry at all?

AFI, Green Day, blink-182, etc. The reason they sounded punk at first was because they had no idea what the hell they were doing. The moral of the story is, the more music is understood, the more boring it sounds.
