@weatherallc05 Holland and CIS were very good teams. Scotland were strong in those days too so Germany had a tough task

@TonyBananas101 sounds unbelievable that germany would have got knocked out

take a look at the Kenneth Andersson goal from Sweden against Germany in the semifinal (2-3) and then search for Romania-Sweden 2-2 from quaterfinals World Cup 1994 (2 years later); the same Kenneth Andersson score AGAIN copying the goal from 1992 scoring with the head after the crossing; he made the same goal... unbelievable! if Prunea (Romania goalkeeper in 1994) saw this goal from Euro 1992 ,maybe another was the result in 1994

@TonyBananas101 The game Scotland - CIS was played a few hours earlier than Netherlands - Germany. It'snot difficult in this day and age to use your brain. lol

Can anyone help me finding out who has written the music from the very beginning of this clip. We only hear 3 seconds, but I guess it is a beautiful classical work and I would like to hear all of it.
The narrator is incorrect. Holland and Germany had NOT sealed their place by the final group game. Germany only proceeded to the semi final due to Scotland's win over the CIS. If Scotland-CIS had finished a draw or CIS win, Germany would have been out. It's not difficult in this day and age to get facts correct.

@JackSparrowDepp FIFA and UEFA decreed that all final group games would be played simultaneously after the Austria-West Germany farce of the 1982 World Cup. This rule came into force for Euro 1984 and still applies today, therefore the Scotland-CIS and Nertherlands=Germany game were played simultaneously at 20:15KO on 18th June 1992. I agree its not difficult in ANY day and age to engage your brain. You should try heeding your own advice en wikipedia org wiki UEFA Euro 1992 Group_B
