If they don't want to have wine that's their business. Idk many churches that still use wine for communion anyway

I love the Duggars but Anna's dad doesn't make sense. I think he's misunderstood. While the wife IS supposed to submit to the husband like the church to Jesus, He's also supposed to make choices that will be best for her and keep her safe and happy (she can give her two cents so he knows what makes her happy) love her like Jesus loves the church, and be willing to die for her. People tend to leave that part out and think the wife is property and she should just shut up and listen to her husband.

Her authority? Are you effin kidding me? Is she a friggin slave? A marriage should be equal. I'd be damned if my husband would be my authority. These people are so brainwashed.

If her and Josh waited to see each other instead of seeing her before he wouldn't have stepped on her train. It annoys me that they saw each other before their vows.
-
Why is he seeing her before she walks down the aisle? I would think that wouldn't be allowed either. I can't believe they don't drink at all. Why don't they take pictures after they get married? Why are they doing it before?

@mjbjemifan09 I couldn't live that way, either. It's just not natural. It's like being back in the 1800s.

um, bread and wine?
How can you have juice in biblical times? There were no preservatives and no refrigeration. I hate it when people try to twist facts to justify their beliefs. Wine was a safe thing to drink back in Jesus time. Water was not safe. There were many water born diseases that can not survive in alcohol.
