  • Hi...

May i ask how the arduino gets the info about the color/intensity of the picture to "enhance"....Serial, HDMI hack, sensor....can you elaborate?

Is it easy to make, when buying the kit??

  • @mortenholck The program just dumps pixels/screengrabs from the PC and calculates what to send to the leds. This device needs to be used on and with a PC.

Only way to get HDMI info or anything from a PS3, X360 etc would be to use a video in card, and get the signal onto the PC first.

The build is really easy - anyone could do it. I havent even soldered, just twisted cables :)

  • Oh! Good job! with this "bypass", where do you have all that code? I thinking about buy an Adalight.

  • @MassoBBS Updated the info under the video with another link

  • Hi can you try other actual games like CoDMW3 or Battlefield 3? Good video!

  • @MassoBBS Nm that last comment, I found a way to bypass that so every game will work now :)

  • min favorittbit er når du sier ooh purple! puss och kram

  • @MassoBBS Due to current limitations, its only possible to get the lights working on games you can play in "Windowed Fullscreen Mode" like World of Warcraft - games like BF3 writes all the data to the framebuffer in the gfx card and does not work atm, hopefully someone will find a solution to this, by writing the framedata to file and extracting the data needed from there.

  • fa'n vad smuuud det her var da mannen! :D *thumbs up*
