Jonas Daughter ep. 1

*Nick is Gemma's dad btw*
"Daddy! DADDY!"
I heard my four year old daughter, Gemma, yelling from her bedroom. I got up and walked into her room, and crouched down beside her bed.
"What is it Gems?" I asked her, she was crying.
Gemma:"Daddy I wanna sleep in your bed, I scared.." She reached her little arms out to me and I picked her up.
"Why can't you sleep in here?"
By now she had wrapped her arms around my neck and had her head resting on my chest.
Gemma:"Daddy..Mommas gonna get me. She's comin.."
I took her into my room and layed down on my bed, still holding her.
"Why do you say that? Your mom is never coming back I promise you. Not while I'm here, I'll protect you.."
She cuddled into my chest and whimpered.
Gemma:"I saw her."
"When? Where?"
Gemma:"My dream..Daddy don't leave me I scared.."
"Shh I'm right here..I'm not leaving you.."
I ran my fingers through her hair and hummed "Hello Beautiful" as she fell asleep.
Things had been terrible for Gemma since her mother left me. She tryed to take Gemma, leaving her with nightmares and a strong attatchment to me. Not to mention, a
fear of women. This was almost a nightly thing now, her crying for me and ending up sleeping here in my arms. But I'm ok with it..She's my baby girl.
I gently placed Gemma down on my bed and got up, I grabbed my cell phone and walked into the bathroom.
1 Missed Call.
I checked to see who it was from.
"Julia Gerard;11:12 p.m."
I didn't really want to talk to Julia, but I had to. You see, Gemma sings and has a natural talent for almost every instrument. Julia is a family friend who insists
on getting Gemma famous, no matter how much I tell her to just forget it. I mean, Gemma's four, she's not ready to be out singing live and such. I called her back.
Julia:"Hey Nick!"
"Hey" I was whispering the whole time, careful not to wake Gemma.
Julia:"So I think I've got the perfect idea for Gemma."
"And that is?" I sat down on the side of the bathtub and put my head in my free hand,sighing.
Julia:"Well, the Jonas Brothers tour thats coming up, I figured Gems could tag along-"
"You mean like always?"
Julia:"Well yeah, but maybe she can have a small part in concerts."
"..Like what?"
Julia:"I thought that maybe she could sing a song to open the concert, whatever she chooses to sing."
"Julia I'd have to ask-"
Julia:"Your dad and managers.. Yeah I know. I talked to them. They think it's perfect as long as your ok with it."
"I don't know, Juli-"
Gemma:"Daddy.."
"Look, I gotta go."
I hung up and slid my phone back into my pocket and went to lay down beside Gemma.
"I'm right here honey."
She rolled over and looked at me.
Gemma:"Why was you on the phone?"
"It was Julia, she has an idea for you to sing, Gems."
Her mouthed formed into the biggest smiled and her eyes sparkled.
Gemma:"WHEN WHEN WHEN!"
I laughed and smiled at her.
"She wants you to sing a song at the beginning of our concerts."
She sat up, still smiling brightly.
"When! When we leavin! Come on daddy lets go!"
She started to get down from the bed, but I picked her up and pulled her back over.
"Whoah whoah there little lady, we're not leaving for another week."
Her smile faded.
Gemma:"A week!? But daddy thats forever!"
She crossed her arms and looked at me.
"Yeah..But you get to go to practices with me and your uncles and you get to sing there. Is that better?"
Her smile appeared again and she hugged me.
Gemma:"Thank yous thank yous daddy. I love you!"
She brought her head up and kissed my nose. I smiled and hugged her, then kissed her forehead.
"I love you too, Gemma."
Right there, she fell asleep, just as excited as ever.

I'm sorry it's boring so far! But like, it's just the first chapter! And I have to introduce everything..
