At least their power is obtained within a legal framework with divison of power of legislative, executive and judicative.

Even so immature and supressed, there are enough democratic forces present in china which will take up the responsibilty. Long and painfull readjustment with even more hardships for the poorest will follow. At least China's future generations would grow up in a world in which there no more corrupt officialls enriching themselves on the public property earlier generations have build with their sweat and blood. Capitalist have powerful and imorral elites too.
