  • Well, lots of people say it's one of the worst Best Picture winners ever. I, personally liked Chicago. It was fun to watch. And a very good movie. The Pianist was good too. But most of those who rank Best Picture winners are male, and men usually don't like musicals. I'm a guy too (16) and I liked it. But who am I too judge? Both were great films!

  • Ok, for me, The Lord of the Rings: the two towers should have won, but i'm suspect to say because i'm addicted to this trilogy

  • Why do people get upset about a film winning best picture and not best director. It allows the voters to "spread the wealth" between two movies they really like. If there is no difference between the two then just abolish the best director award - and give best picture to the producer AND director. John Ford was one of the finest director in history - and he holds the Oscar record as a 4 time winner of the best director oscar. However, only one of his films won the best picture oscar !!!

  • @thatsnotmyname90210 I agree, it was a fun film, but for it to win, I don't know what was going on, I guess the Oscars wanted to make the mother of all surprises that year.

Personally, I thought "Around the World in 80 Days" was the worst Best PIcture Winner.

  • CHICAGO IS SOO AMAZING

  • I hated Chicago, I couldant believed it even got nominated

  • chicago is a great movie

  • Pretty good movie, but The Pianist is waaaaaaaay better.

  • funny how everyone knew The Two Towers wasn't going to win

  • I LUV CHICAGO

  • It's funny that they panned over to Hilary and her husband when Marty couldn't remember who to thank because Hilary forgot to thank her husband when she won her first Oscar for Boys Don't Cry.

  • And all that jazz!!
