@nicholascooney That would be a good idea. I would not want classic 8-bit style to be the only option. Mega Man 11 may be the first to implement this idea.

@EnderTXenocide New gamers are unfamiliar with the difficulty of Mega Man 9 anyway. Mega Man 9 and 10 are not for everyone.

@EnderTXenocide You sound like a retro fanboy. Replay value depends on the user. Mega Man 9 and 10 are no different from Mega Man 1-8. At least 10% of current-generation games have more replay value than any Mega Man game. In my opinion, the Final Fantasy games have more replay value than these Mega Man games. I care less about difficulty.
