  • I love the Horn Milk Bar. haven't been for a while though. Is it still there?

  • @pooman209 You'll never believe this, but me and the wife were there today. We were heading up to the antiques place at Abernyte and couldn't resist stopping at the Horn. Needless to say, we both had the bacon rolls and I had the sausage roll to go and this time it had four sausages on it! Word of warning though, if you ask for a bag of chips, unless you have at least a dozen people, get the half-bag. I got the 'full bag' and we'll be chucking at least 2/3 of it out for the birds tomorrow!

  • hey BradThunder - whats the song called which is playing at around 5:10?

    thanks =)

  • Hi! It's called 'Flowers Of The Forrest' and it's by Mike Oldfield from his album Voyager - a very Celtic-sounding album and quite brilliant too! :)

  • I'm wondering, is something like "its plain as the nose on your face" something typical for people in Scotland to say? Not so much the pronunciation, but the phrase itself.

  • Yep, we use that one too and I'm sure there must be a version of it we have made for ourselves!

  • @UllapudlianIAN Camped up in Ullapool a few years ago and remember having a great fish supper at the chippy there. Had dinner one evening at a restaurant (can't remember the name) and had an unforgettable seafood platter which was so fresh, I'm sure it was probably still swimming earlier that day! Love the light up there too!

  • This just may help me out when I'm studying abroad in Scotland next semester! lol
