I remember that storm, well I remember hearing about it. I was Planning on moving back up to Eugene that winter. My friends who live in the hilly countryside just south of there were complaining about the how much snow got dumped on them and about how cold it was. I never made the move, and I'm still stuck here in So. Cal! Some day I'll I make it back up there. Except I'm going to Portland, Can't wait!

I can't imagine they'd be too keen on that, but they probably had bigger things to deal with... who knows!
At one point, I even saw a pair of snowmobiles in amongst traffic on the main highway about a mile from my house. I had video of them, too, but it was accidentally erased along with the rest of the 5 days over Christmas... D'OH!

And the police are OK with that dude riding the ATV around on the streets like that???? Or just during the storm, he's getting away with it?
I'm planning on building up a little toy collection. Both street, and off-road.

Hey, SE where? A southeast part of Milwaukie, or is that a specific neighborhood. Can you post cross streets? Or that pizza places address? So I can google it and see where you guys are at up there. I'm dieing to move up there, but it's gonna be a little bit yet. In the meantime, I'm trying to familiarize myself with the area as much as possible. I'm stoked, can't wait!

Now that 3 front on the 20th, something i will never forget in a million years. We end up getting twice of what they predicted. And funny how there was yet a 4th front that gave us the snow on X-mas eve and X-mas day! I never heard of that many storms rolling through in just a 2 week period.
i was there

I remember watching closely, the weather reports for your guys area, all during this. That was an amazing number of systems or fronts to come through. In such a short period of time. I was so so wishing I was up there for it. Instead of watching from afar down here in AZ.

In all reality, we get fronts stacked up like that all the time in the winter. Usually it's 45°, not 25°. That's what made this series of storms so amazing! Typically, the first front will scour out all the cold air and we'll warm back into rain - if we get any arctic air at all, that is.
