@RoadRashRiver with the proper engine/tranny/rear end combo, you could pull 5000lbs. i agree with you, though, you cant do it with a stock setup

love the radio in the background. space science. great cruising tunes.

I can see that was in Calif. The speed limit when towing is 55mph in Calif.. I'm sure he was going faster then that by the way the accident looked.

@terravarious everything with 4 wheel drive is referred to as a Jeep in this day and age...just goes to show you...whether ppl hate the brand or love it...it will always be in EVERYONES heart
-
lol, dumbasses, only in a jeep, good luck following a jeep through trails, use a jeep for what its made for

So worn out shocks and springs are because of drive error? you should go back to school.
I don't drive jeep wranglers, they are lame after all the poseurs own them.
It's ok it's not a JEEP. But properly loaded and intelligently driven a JEEP or this Land Cruiser would be able to tow that trailer just fine.

@badmoonryzn Aint no FREAKING way a Jeep wrangler is going to pull 5000 lb. You are just gonna destroy the transmission. I dont give a crap about the hitch class. BrettHoustonTube is completely right in this argument. You think you know more than the company does?? Oh ya i forgot, you spend hundreds of hours testing these jeep to see how much they could pull. NO, you didnt. Oh well i dont even care, you are just gonna destroy the thing pulling more than 3500 lb. And thats with a JKU
