Lady Gaga's new music video strongly relates to Brandon Teena in "Boys Don't Cry" where the setting is in his home state of Nebreska, and Gaga dresses up as a man, and sings about abuse from her loved ones. Is Gaga trying to say something?

Right on, m'man. Despite Gaga's utter lack of convention and obsessive commitment to riding on shock value, I did NOT see this one coming. I found it very touching that she chose to bring to light the love and tender compassion of one transgendered teen and allegorically justify the grisly murder aspect in a figurative 'bird-may-love-a-fish' metaphor. I really appreciated her embodiment of gender expression as a social construction with the mad-scientic-type human experimentation scenes.

I think so, too. when gaga playing the piano in the clip, she looks just like Brandon's girlfriend also. I loved this song even before I watched the PV, and after watching it, I was kind of sure thats exactly related to Brandon. Gaga always makes me feel like so cared and touched, her passion and love is deeper than the sea, higher than the sky, bigger than the space.
