  • Ron Paul was a libertarian once.

Republicans many many years ago were far more like libertarian. And Ron Paul just says that they should go back to where they began.

As a libertarian he would have no chances of winning the election so he just runs as a republican (same for congress elections).

  • I am crying right now for ron paul. i just didnt do enough. in my defence i didnt know all this in detail...

My view, her body is her property and the fetus is part of her body, Who owns the fetus, does the government?

I do believe abortion in most cases is wrong and both parents should take responsibility for their actions. But there are times when abortion should be the option, rape? medical or mental conditions?

It should be left to the individual to decide, if you don't like it you can try and change their mind, but it is wrong for anyone else to force them.

I would currently define myself 100% Libertarian, but for one vexing issue- what about the rights of the unborn, vs. the rights of the mother- (or father, for that matter?) Any solid advice on this? I believe life begins at conception, based on Science, not Religion...

  • The saying vote for one out of two evil. When everything becomes corrupted Americans ask WHY! LOLO If you have not read 1984 than you can see what double speak.

  • Then what is the difference between a libertarian and a Independent?? Are the not the same???

  • Then what is the difference between a "libertarian", and a "Independent"? Are they not the same???

  • Because . . . socialism must be evil . . . ?!!! Ahh , , , the Cold War is over . . . too many Americans have been brain washed into thinking socialism is evil . . . socialism is NOT communism . . . and BY THE WAY . . . Russia was NEVER communist!!!! It was a dictatorship poorly disguised in the clothes of communism.

  • There were a few. I was one of them in the 2008 election. Traveled 33 states and received ZERO state-wide and ZERO national news coverage.

The People have to talk to each other in order for a lesser-known candidate to win. People do tend to group themselves and they like to say they voted for the "winner", like it was a horse race.

If enough people talk to each other, they realize that they actually have enough groups size to win an election.

  • I also wrote Ron Paul in...
