Okay in order to calculate this. Pi times the Radius squared. 16 inch pizza has a radius of 8 inches. 8 squared is 64 times pi is about 201.143 square inches using the fractional approximation of pi to equal 22/7. Now the 28 inch pizza has a radius of 14, square 14 you get 196 then multiply by pi you get 616 square inches. or approximately 3.0625 times larger than a 16 inch pizza. So to equal this pizza each person must consume a hair over 1.5 16 inch pizzas EACH :D
