During The Flaming Lips headlining set on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at Ohio's Nelsonville Music Fest, they played new song "Is David Bowie Dying?" (the live debut was the night before in Detroit).
This video, the second part in a series of three recapping The Flaming Lips at Nelsonville Music Fest, features the complete performance of "Bowie" plus a snippet of "Laser Hands" (from the end of "See the Leaves"). I get the feeling from the lips' new stuff that they arent trying to attract fans anymore. like, they still have a lot of talent, but they dont hold back their weirdness at all now
