@phylosifer Just curious. I notice you said " you just ordered one of these" Chandler RH-2's. From where, exactly, did you order the instrument? I know Chandler has a website, but I cannot get any response from them at all. All the other outlets that used to carry them all say " discontinued item" now.

theseekerr - what lap steel guitar did you end up buying? I am also looking into Grestch, Chandler and Fender.
I am looking for a guitar that has a clean and sweet tone.

I deffinitely would recomend it. I own an RH-2 and i gig it all the time. Its a great steel, especially for the beginner. plus they make em in the U.S.!

Would you recommend this lap steel? I've been looking at the different ones available in this range, and the chandler seems like a great instrument.
