Test of my newly build vsti.
Contains 3 OSCs, LFOs for every OSC, LFO for filters, HP and LP filter, Samplehold, and some more. Forgive me for the crappy quality of the video, actual track probably to be released on next Fah & Impakt acid split tape.

  • ive made a really basic filter effect in synth edit but wen i try to exsport it as a VST it says that VST cannot be made D:

does anyone know why this is? D:

  • I'm not sure what you mean, but basically anything that can send out parameters which can be translated into MIDI parameters and messages can be hooked to any knob on this vsti, or any vst/vsti for that matter.

  • Nice looking work.

Could you tell me if it is possible to import impulses into the controls of a gui.?

For example, taking say 20 impulses from a preamp and assigning them to one nob in the gui of the vst.

    Cheers!

  • there's this dir called "skins" under the Synthedit root dir. It will only have default probably, so copy that and rename it. Inside you find numerous text files and graphics and stuff like that that you can edit and so alter the looks, feel and works of the button or switch or whatever. You can switch skin in panel mode with right-mouse click on background. Thanks for the nice comments, and i hope this helps you a bit on your way :) Happy building !

  • Nice going, I am still on the very early stages of vst production using synthedit....how do you skin it. Yours looks and sounds pretty tasty if I may say so.
