Thats a great track! Did my first Track day at Road Atlanta in June of 09. I had an 07CBRRR at the time. Very fast track. Its a place to see what your bike can really do.

if you have a bike leathers golves boots and good helmet it will cost you around $400 for a wknd and some orgs require a membership. if you don't own leathers, boots, or gloves you can rent them for around 100.. oh yea and you need some good sticky tires

i live about 30 min south of atlanta give me an idea price wise of what it's gone cost for me to do a track day.

Definately not Road America. Like others have posted, it is called Road Atlanta is and located in Braselton, Georgia.

IF you're looking for a track bike, either go with the new, redesigned 08 R6, or an 07+ 600RR. You'll be better off with an 07 600RR than you will be with an 07 R6.

The track, the tarmac, the red-white painting on the corners - all look very old and untreated.
Not fun to look at.
But great ride man :)

man that thing wails like crazy...ripping a 600 around the track makes u feel like Nicky Hayden! I can see why guys ride an R6, makes u feel super fast!
No wonder those 600 guys seem so surprised when I blow by them on my liter bike at the track. If u think that's fast, try a liter bike. Same weight, 60% more power!
its Road Atlanta you fuckin retard

I went to Road Atlanta to do the Audi driving school. That was fun, but so was watching the bikes race around the track while the course was going on.
That's why I have my Audi now, and am now looking into getting a used R6.
