U2 - All Because of You - Mini Edge (Feat. Ernie)

Hi people!

Here we are once again with another fantastic song from the vertigo days.

The guitar was recorded using both Guitar Rig 3 (amp emulation and overdrive) and Boss GT-8 (extra sustain and FX). Overall it's been a really challenging song to mix. Had to play a lot with deep reverbs and short delays to give it more body and a bigger sensation of space. We also programmed the tambourine line with MIDI.

i was wondering, does your sg have a coil split? or is it in the middle position? because it sounds like a single coil to my ears. maybe it's the gt-8?

Hey Joseph!

No, it doesn't have any coil split (I wish!). I'm using the neck pickup for this one (it's a Di Marzio hambucker). Guess the single coil sound must because of the amp emulation as you say.
