@egrewing74 you are sooooooooooooooo right in all your ambivalence surrounding faith hill as a performer...she's, at best, mediocre as a singer. i like her too, but she her voice, especially in terms of the amount of control she has over it, is not the best in the game. she is, however, an excellent "prop" for the nashville/country music machine. i'm not saying that i don't like her either, but she is very much apart of a manufactured system to keep people spending money on music...
