@DrHogfan Because it just happens. Tons of teams have young players who need to develop, plus this year there was bad coaching. I agree with you, with the recruiting we have, we should have better seasons than we've had the past two years, but it's unfair to say that no team with top recruiting should ever have a bad year. It happens to the best of us.

@hjiv92 "Yeah, we've had some down year lately" ...WHY? When you have (year in, year out) top 5-10 recruiting, Texas should never EVER go 6-5 7-6 or whatever their record was this yr. How did UT do against Kansas St. this yr?

@DrHogfan I'm just going off of all the ESPN top 150, you know, the recruits that are heralded before they sign with ANYBODY. How can we have a, as you put it, basically phony top class in the nation, when we get the top recruits that have been the top throughout high school. I don't know why you say UT is such a "crappy team". Yeah, we've had some down years lately, who hasn't before? Soon we'll be back to contending for top level, like we were not that long ago.

that involves the QB handing off to the running back who then laterals it back to the QB who looks for a eligible receiver downfield what Texas ran does not qualify as a flea flicker. did you even pass jr high?
btw in 2008 Arkansas went 5-7 and in 2009 went 8-5 so theres some of your bad years for you

A flea-flicker is an unorthadox play(often called a trick play) in American Football. PERIOD
