I want to ask how many of you realise that we have less than 50 yrs before the whole of the western economy based on limitless supplies of raw materials and energy collapses - perhaps sooner! WHAT ARE YOU DUDES GOING TO DO?

if we use SOLAR .. we capture more solar heat (reverse of global-dimming) and cause more global warming
if we use wind/wave.. we stunt natures' energy distribution methods and cause different climate change

agree 100% - welfare is REVERSE EUGENICS state tries to breed dependants so that the state can grow.

at least i'd like people having big families to sign something volunteering to starve first IF we're right about peak oil :)

games are ok actually - safe outlet for unused jungle instincts. but people have computers.. books.. if they want to do something productive they can. mostly people need to relax in spare time away from job. productive things are hard work

Why?

The real overpopulation problem is the people who leave school early and take benefits and have many children, who are then raised in such a way that they do the same. what needs to be done is strict breeding laws, and if religious groups complain, then they can either stop mhaving sex, or get over it and use a condom. Using tv or games as a way of nulling the brain isn't good enough - people should do more productive things ith their time.

Guys... Overpopulation is a major issue. The best thing breeding laws. The difference between us and china is the fact that they actually do something about over population. I knwo that they ahve had problems with it but the US, and europe, don't have the same problems.

yes i dont criticize your arguments.... i criticize that the most of us aren´t good educated...that the most dont even try to think and that the Society promote that also in the schooltime and later on...

see even if people are educated, they still need time to relax. thats why i try not to be too judgemental.
education & thinking is hard work!
sometimes our parents do it. or it might even be escape from otherwise hostile world. Society can't find perfect utilization for everyone. it can try.

regarding multiplying, people need alternate purpose.. and fact is there isn't one (or its hard to find) nature only created us because there's energy that can be burned :) we're a side effect.

"games serves as valve" yes- exactly what i mean. i think we'd get more domestic+gang violence without it. it's the safest "drug".
