@wootlanter...haven't even experienced the modern world of the USA. They still live in a world where illiteracy is common, and education is sparse. The US is the leader on this issue cuz we consume the most. We started the oil boom and now its ending. We need innovation, not hostility. I don't care who solves the problem, Germany, Ireland, China, UK, Sweden, etc. He/She will be a fellow person and I will be proud of my species on that day.

I hate it when people say "we should set an example and reduce our own population".

All that will happen is that the space and resources freed by our own population reduction is only going to be used by other populations coming here from places that haven't reduced their population.

It's like saying we should make our own culture and race extinct so that a different one can come and take its place, just so that they can continue to do the very thing we were supposed to be trying to stop

Absolutely FANTASTIC series. The man is a genius. Its a shame that the current government doesnt employ him or have him as an advisor. What he is saying is what I have been saying to my family and friends for years. How can we continue to grow, as a species when we have 7 BILLION people on this planet. I hate to say it but world depopulation is probably where we are currently heading, especially with Iran,Israel, economic collapse,etc. Scary times are ahead, and I for one CAN see them....
